Parish Staff

 I was born in El Paso, TX in 1984 in the central part of the city.  My parish is Our Lady of the Light on Delta St and it is there that I felt the call for my vocation to the priesthood at the age of 10.  I attended Clardy Elementary, Henderson Middle and Thomas Jefferson High School.  I graduated from Jefferson in 2003.  I attended the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) from the Fall of 2003 to Fall 2009, I graduated with my B. A. in Philosophy.  In the Fall of 2010 I entered St. Charles Seminary in El Paso, TX.  The Spring of 2011 I was accepted to Assumption Seminary in San Antonio, TX.  In the Fall of 2011 I was transferred to St. Mary's Seminary in Houston, TX where I finished my theological studies in 2016.  In 2015 I was ordained a Deacon at Our Lady of the Light and on May 27, 2016 as a Priest at St. Patrick's Cathedral by Bishop Mark Seitz.

 

My pastoral assignments as priest have been at St. Pius X and San Juan Bautista in the central part of El Paso from 2016 to 2018 as Assistant Priest; St. Mark on the eastside of El Paso from 2018 to 2019 as Assistant Priest; Administrator of Santo Niño de Atocha in the central part of El Paso from 2019 to 2020 and to Our Lady of Fatima in Van Horn, TX and Our Lady of Miracles in Sierra Blanca, TX as Administrator September 2020.
